50 win season would be pretty tough at this point IMO. You d need to go 34-12 from here on out to crack that - definitely possible, but highly unlikely, given how many good teams you ll have to play to make it there. For reference, the only teams that are at that pace right now are the Bucks and Lakers.

That said, though, I definitely think you guys finish solidly above .500, and would be my odds-on favorite team to round out the playoff field in the West. You guys have a bunch of underrated players, and I learned a long time ago to never, ever doubt Pop, no matter how rocky things may be looking.

Everyone has been talking about how LMA and the rest of the team shooting 3s opens up the floor for DeMar to do his thing, but not enough people are talking about how well everyone is cutting. Our offense looks completely unrecognizable from the start of the season. Personally, I feel like this is why Marco got so much playing time during the start of the season; only he and Patty knew how to move without the ball since they’ve played with the 2014 era Spurs team. The passing along the perimeter (which is another thing that Marco was good at) is also improving and was what led to that Lonnie 3 in the fourth. I actually felt like I was watching the beautiful game.

Yes. Plus always been explosive. His problem was his impulses and being lost at times in the grand scheme. But those shortcomings are the ones you coach out of his system, which is why I think Pop has been really hard on him. Dude s improved really well though, so I guess he s the type for coaching like that

It s getting better, but he s always shown potential. An exciting thing for the Spurs is that both Lonnie and Murray seem to have a knack for the midrange, and they re playing with Rudy, Demar and LMA - three of the best midrange guys in the league.

Lot of learning opportunities there.
